Step 1: Choose the Right Spot
Pick a flat, smooth area on the side of your bin — ideally at eye level so it's easy to spot from a distance. Avoid areas near hinges, handles, or moulded ridges, as these make it harder to get a smooth, bubble-free finish.
Tip: Applying to two sides of the bin means it's visible whether the bin is facing the road or the pavement.
Step 2: Clean the Surface Thoroughly

Step 5: Press Firmly from the Centre Out
Once you're happy with the position, press the centre of the sticker down first, then smooth outward toward the edges. Use a flat card or squeegee to push out any air bubbles as you go. Apply firm, even pressure across the whole sticker.
Step 6: Leave It to Set
For the best long-term adhesion, avoid washing the bin or exposing it to heavy rain for 24–48 hours after application. This gives the adhesive time to fully bond with the surface.

If you spot a small bubble straight after applying, press it toward the nearest edge with your fingernail or a card. For larger bubbles, carefully lift the edge of the sticker and re-apply.
The edges are starting to lift — can I fix it?
